Privacy

The controller is the operator named in the Legal notice . General information about hosting and your rights is in the Vikingard privacy policy.

Account

We store your username, Discord name and ID, a password hash for older accounts, sign-in sessions as hashes and your entries. No email address is collected. A cookie keeps you signed in; it is technically necessary. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. A second cookie stores your language if you choose one.

Sign-in with Discord

When signing in, the site redirects you to Discord (provider: Discord Inc., USA). We only receive your Discord ID and names and do not store any Discord access.

Votes

Voting requires an account. Per month we store which account voted for a server, how often and when last. Username, count and time are publicly visible on the server page. For votes on their server, owners also receive your username, your Discord name and ID and, if provided, your ARK name through our API so they can give rewards. Deleting your account removes this data; the server's total vote count remains without personal reference.

Public information

Description, mods, server values, banner, Discord and website are public. Vikingard only contacts you there if you voluntarily ticked the box (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can untick it at any time.

Deletion

You can delete your account and entries yourself at any time under “My account”.
